This Last Warm Solitude is the 2nd studio album by Piet Goddaers alter ego Ozark Henry. The songs on This Last Warm Solitude are produced and arranged by Piet and co-produced by Mark Phythian and Roy Spong, assistants of Gil Norton, who produced albums by The Pixies. The album was supported by a visual live show with the intention to blend sound and images to create a soundtrack to a fictional movie.
The first single of the album ''Radio (188.8.131.52.184.108.40.206)'' was written for a friend who died of cancer, a few days before the release of This Last Warm Solitude. ''Summer Junkie'' reached number 1 in the UK Tipsheet chart. Ozark Henry received a Zamu Award as best songwriter/ composer for This Last Warm Solitude.
The first pressing of This Last Warm Solitude is a limited edition. 500, individually numbered copies, are pressed on 'Flaming' yellow and orange coloured vinyl.
