Joe Gibbs - African Dub Chapter Two [LP]

Credited as one of the earliest examples of reggae Dub, African Dub Chapter Two takes the listener through the hottest riddims of the day from Joe Gibbs own productions and others (Coxsone Dodd and Duke Reid), into early examples of dub technique (echo, segmented vocal riffs, isolated drum and bass) and experimental use of synthesizers in reggae. Important because of its foundational elements and legendary status, which the five part suite has earned over decades. Now in its 40th year, VP/17 North Parade celebrate essential reggae with the release of the remastered African Dub Chapter Two.
